Billy Corgan Interviews Rush For One-Hour Special Titled "Inside Rush: Clockwork Angels"

With more than 40 million records sold worldwide and countlesssold-out tours, RUSH - Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart - isnot only one of the most inventive and compelling groups in rockhistory, but remains one of the most popular.

RUSH release their first album in over five years on June 12."Clockwork Angels" marks the band's 20th studio record and is theirfirst studio release via Anthem/Roadrunner Records. Behind themixing desk was producer Nick Raskulinecz, who also collaboratedand co-produced 2007's "Snakes & Arrows".

Lyrically, "Clockwork Angels" chronicles a young man's questacross a lavish and colorful world of steampunk and alchemy as heattempts to follow his dreams. The story features lost cities,pirates, anarchists, an exotic carnival, and a rigid watchmaker whoimposes precision on every aspect of daily life.

To mark the release of "Clockwork Angels", Geddy Lee and AlexLifeson connected with Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins for anhour long conversation about the new album, making music, and muchmore.
