(PRESS RELEASE): Bohemian Guitars launches the Boho 2.0 series into retail, introducing the Ukulele, Bass and improved standard bodies to its upcycled oil can guitar line, plus three completely new designs; Bohemian Ale, Electric Limeade and Hot Sauce.

After a successful pre-order campaign last year, where Bohemian Guitars did $325,000 in pre-orders from 2000 customers, Bohemian Guitars is coordinating the launch of their new ukulele and bass models with a concerted move into the global market. The company has received great acclaim for their innovative range of oil can inspired guitars including being graduates of the 500 Startups Accelerator program in Silicon Valley.

These instruments have a unique appeal, taking the South African concept of the oilcan guitar and transforming it into a highly playable, visually appealing, super cool instrument with a real sound of their own.

The guitars have already received some world-class users including Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Hozier, G Love, The Roots, The Revivalists, KONGOS and Umphrey’s McGee.

"The key with the Bohemian instrument is the tone, power and workmanship, with a very professional touch. Well done.” Billy Gibbons, ZZ Top. This guitar sounds amazing. By any standard, for any guitar, not just a gas can. I’m loving it.” - Zack Feinberg, The Revivalists.

Continuing its vision to support the community and create a sustainable future, Bohemian Guitars has partnered with Trees for the Future and will plant 1 tree for every purchase. The majority of the wood used to build the neck of the guitars is sourced from sustainable forests and continues to explore the use of reclaimed woods. As Bohemian Guitars grows, similar programs will be extended to the Boho community and will continue to work to reduce BG's environmental footprint.
