Dream Theater Announce 2012 Summer North American Tour Dates | Guitar Interactive Magazine

Progressive metaller's Dream Theater will launch a secondNorth America tour leg this summer as part of their current worldtour.

The new leg will launch their summer dates June 15 in Rochester,NY and wrap July 21 in Chester, PA. The tour includes stops at theGibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles and the PNC Bank Arts Center inHolmdel, NJ plus a two-night engagement at the Paramount Theater onLong Island, NY.

Dream Theater's single 'On the Backs of Angels' was recentlynominated for the band's first ever Grammy Award in 2012 in thecategory of Best Hard Rock / Metal Performance. Despite theirnomination Dream Theater lost out to the Foo Fighters with theirsong 'White Limo'.

Dream Theater are touring in support of their latest album ADramatic Turn Of Events (Roadrunner).
