Former GUNS N' ROSES rhythm-section bandmates Steven Adler and Duff McKagan are set to present the 'Riff Lord' award at the upcoming Revolver Golden Gods Awards show.
It will be the fourth annual 'Golden Gods' ceremony and the show, presented by Epiphone, will take place on April 11th at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. This will also be the first time the whole show will be broadcast live on Xbox LIVE in addition to the Xbox and Revolver facebook pages.
The 2012 Revolver Golden Gods Awards Show will feature special performances and collaborations that honor both the past, present and future of heavy music.
The one-of-a-kind performances will include sets by Marilyn Manson (in his first U.S. performance in nearly three years); Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, Evanescence, Sixx:A.M. featuring Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe, James Michael, acclaimed rock producer and songwriter, and DJ Ashba of Guns N' Roses (in their first performance in almost four years); and 2011 Best New Band Golden God Award winner Black Veil Brides, who will perform their only U.S. show of 2012 so far.
Meanwhile, Ex-GUNS N' ROSES lead guitarist Slash, released a special version one of the tracks from his 2010 self titled Solo album to help raise money and awareness for the charity Los Angeles Youth Network.
The song, recorded with Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine.
