FENDER MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS CORPORATION ANNOUNCES NEW INNOVATIONS FOR 2023, EMPOWERING PLAYERS AND CREATORS GLOBALLY

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (July 12, 2023) — As the music industry continues to thrive, so too does the demand for guitar-driven music and the need for musical expression. Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) is proud to cater to the needs of seasoned guitarists and new players alike, today announcing a slate of new products that demonstrate the same industry-leading innovation and craftsmanship the brand has been synonymous with for nearly eight decades. With new electric and acoustic guitars, and accessories introductions, FMIC continues to support and elevate players by providing them with all the tools they need to learn, create and hone their sound.

“At FMIC, our commitment to innovation knows no bounds as we continue to raise the bar with our new product offerings,” said Justin Norvell, Executive Vice President, Product at FMIC. “This year, more than ever, our customers spoke and we listened, pioneering gear in all Fender categories, enabling our players to evolve their sound and reach new creative heights.”

"We are thrilled to share an exciting array of new products designed to cater to the ever-expanding community of passionate individuals and creators,” added Tammy Van Donk, Executive Vice President FMIC Sales. “We are eager to collaborate with our esteemed global dealer community, who play an integral role in educating and equipping customers with our cutting-edge gear. Together, we'll empower musicians globally to get to the next level."

Today’s introductions include the Limited Edition Suona collection - a trio of refined and elegant Thinline electrics - and additions to Fender’s acclaimed California Series of acoustic guitars, including all-new California Vintage models that blend retro visual vibes with 21st-century performance and tone. In addition, a range of accessories - such as retro straps, ombre cases necks and pickups - will allow players to customize and personalize both their look and sound.

This fresh range of instruments exist at the intersection of Fender Musical Instruments Corp. (FMIC)’s timeless design and the sort of innovative technology that can only come from a team of builders whose expertise is illuminated by their passion for the guitar and amps and the equipment that goes along with them.

  • Designed to inspire and captivate, the Limited Edition Suona models sing with a refined elegance that echoes the masterful work of a legendary artisan.
  • Bold, eye-catching and unique, California Series instruments make no compromises balancing standout style, superior sound and effortless playability for those who aspire to play something different.
  • Perfect for musicians looking to play a ukulele that still embodies Fender's deep-rooted tradition, Fullerton Series models were designed and shaped to appeal to players looking for something a little different than the traditional ukes in the market.
  • The Squier Paranormal Series are player-friendly models that add a fresh flavour to Fender favourites. With otherworldly looks and earth-shattering tones, these models will transport any player into a Paranormal realm.
  • Fender’s Summer 2023 line of accessories will assist players in making an instrument truly their own with the release of a new line of straps, cases, pickups, necks, and more.
