At The Drive-In Announce Details of Special One-Off UK Date-

Newly reformed post-punk rockers At The Drive-In have announceddetails of a special, one-off show in the UK.

The one-off date will take place at an as-yet unnamed venuesometime in August and fans are advised to sign up at atdimusic.com/presale tobe in with a chance of purchasing tickets for the show before theygo on general sale. Applicants have until midnight (BST) on July 5to register.

If, however, fans are unlucky in the quest for tickets then therewill be a second chance to see the El-Paso hardcore outfit at theforthcoming Reading & Leeds Festivals, also in August.

Speaking to LA Weekly, guitarist Jim Ward discussed the bandsreunion and addressed suggestions it was entirely moneyorientated:

"The most exciting part to me is that there's not a firm ending tothis band," he said, before adding: "This isn't the sort of thingwhere we're taking advantage of the reunion status and doing asmany festivals as we can. We're doing this very slowly and weliterally don't know what's going to happen."
