Joe Satriani Teams Up With John Petrucci And Steve Morse For New G3 Tour Dates | Guitar Interactive Magazine

Joe Satriani has announced his plans to team up with John Petrucci (Dream Theater) and Steve Morse (Deep Purple) for the South American leg of his G3 tour.

The announcement comes after last weeks news that the European tour will feature the more familiar Vai--Satriani duo with Steve Morse. 

G3 2012 South America now has 2 dates announced - kicking off on October 11, 2012 at Citibank Hall, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. John Petrucci will take the place of Steve Vai for this part of the tour. Shred master John Petrucci needs no introduction, as part of the progressive metallers Dream Theater, this will be his seventh jaunt as part of the G3 trio.
