Soundgarden to Open Seattle Seahawks' NFL Opening Home Game

Seattle sound veterans Sound Garden are scheduled to perform at the home opening game of Super Bowl XLVIII's winners, the Seattle Seahawks.

Along with Chris Cornell, Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron and Ben Shepherd (Soundgarden) rapper and producer king, Pharrell Williams is also scheduled to perform on September 4th to help kick start the new NFL season (95th).

The 60-minute pregame show will air from 4:30 '“ 5:30 p.m. PT on NBC and NFL Network live from CenturyLink Field prior to the Seahawks and Gren Bay Packers match.

In related news Soundgarden are currentlyin the midst of a North America summer tour with Nine Inch Nails, which wraps up August 30 in the Seattle suburb of Auburn, Washington.
