(PRESS RELEASE): Iconic guitar brand Danelectro have a whole host of new models available this summer.

12 String (see above image)

Jangly 12-string tones are just a strum away with the DC59-12 models - the classic Danelectro double cutaway shape has been augmented with an F-hole semi-acoustic top, and the legendary lipstick single coil pickups, available in cherry or tobacco sunbursts.

DG63 (Tq ) Turquoise Metal Flake

The DG63 range has been reintroduced with some eye-catching colours and the new 56 Lipstick® pickup that closely matches the tones of those cherished 1950’s Danelectros. Constructed using the traditional Danelectro frame body with masonite back and top, with double offset cutaway styling and choice of black, red sparkle burst, turquoise and red metal flake finishes.

DCV56 (CR) Cream

Meanwhile, more semi-acoustic tones abound with the brand new DCV56 Convertible - again the 56 Lipstick® pickup has been matched to slightly deeper hollow body, with the addition on a Piezo bridge pickup meaning you can switch between or combine acoustic and electric tones at the turn of a dial. Available in black, white or tobacco sunburst.

DG67 (YL) Yellow

With its cool offset body shape and superb neck, the DG67 Danelectro guitar easily captures that unmistakable twang in an eye-catching shape and range of finishes including Aqua, Yellow, Red and Black.

Baby Sitar

DBS68 Baby Sitar

Finally, if you are looking for something cool and unusual to expand your playing why not try the new DBS68 Baby Sitar from Danelectro? With its rounded ’thermometer’ body and headstock, it is tuned like a regular six string guitar, but produces mystical, eastern tones thanks to its Gotoh Sitar bridge. Complete with the obligatory lipstick pickups, the Baby Sitar is an ideal addition to any players collection.
